PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE –
This notice applies only to our guests attending our B and C casts of The British Dancing Academy’s performance of Aladdin for Saturday June 16th.
First of all thank you and we are excited for you to participate! It is a really fun show and our dancers are thrilled to perform!
On that Saturday there are a number of other events scheduled in the area including several graduations in the stadium directly behind the theater. There will be a lot of people, a lot of cars, and very little parking available.
PLEASE do not come alone in a car if at all possible. Try to carpool or ride with someone. When you do arrive you are welcome to find parking on your own anywhere in the immediate area parking lots or on the street. We will not be allowed to control the lots on that day as we have done in years past.
When we learned of the extra events we knew we could not just hope it would all work out. So we secured 2 additional parking options exclusively for us. Please drop your party off at the front of the theater first.
Option #1: The District has provided us with access to the ERAC District Admin Office which is at 15675 Ambaum Blvd. SW Burien, 98166. This is about 1/2 mile from the theater and they will have a bus circling from this parking to the theater all day starting at 10:30 AM through 11:00 PM to cover both cast B and C performances.
Option #2: We have rented the Burien Free Methodist Church at 520 S 150th St Burien WA 98148. This location is about 2 blocks from the theater and we have hired 2 valets and shuttles that will circle between the church parking and the theater during the same time.
Between these 2 options and considerate carpooling we should be able to accommodate everyone!
PLEASE allow some extra time and arrive early – if you find parking on your own take it! If not please follow the instructions above.
We want everyone to enjoy the show and experience so please encourage people to come – the message is to allow extra time and extra patience.
Lastly please forward this information to any other family member or friends that are planning to come for the Saturday shows.
